    About Me Ravenstrike covers the middle to the end of the Dark Ages, approximately 1200 to 1600. If nobility and knighthood are what you seek, you have come to the wrong place. Though we are noble in our own hearts (assassins make good money), honorable in our actions (there is honor amongst thieves) and strong in our presence (at least until we throw the mercenaries into a lake and make them bathe), we make the world as we know it our kingdom and defend it with our black hearts. We are Ravenstrike. We are peasants and thieves, assassins and scum, mercenaries for hire. We may not be well liked, but we are well paid... Ravenstrike covers a wide variety of activities. We have two sections that are subdivided into various guilds to attempt placement and fun for all that wish to join. Our combat section is divided between Assassins, Thieves and Mercenaries. We fight with a variety of weaponry, primarily shinai-class, including swords, chobo (bamboo fighting sticks), staff, and polearm, as well as fencing (schlager) and various other weapons and styles both established and experimental. Our non-combat section holds our 'merchants' who practice various crafts such as leatherworking, candle making as well as other arts, music, and dance. It is our hope to find a place where all are made welcome.
